Interesting piece

Interesting piece, somewhat iconic and abstract in some ways. The thing I notice though is that it looks a tad messy in its abstraction. Unclear details form a mass in the middle of the body, legs are crude, unformed with only a hint of structure. This work relies much on the viewer to finish the details, to assume it. I would say perhaps practice drawing more skeletons, which is a standard practice among art school students anyway. Perhaps take a traditional art class at your local community college.

(Those tend to be better at smaller schools. Such a teaching can really increase your skills much faster and give you a boost in confidence and knowledge as it did for me. No need to take years of learning, just the basics is fine to start with. Experience and practice does the rest.)

I'll give this one a 8/10 and 5/5

Ah ha!

I just finished reviewing your first flash on here and now I see your tyrue artistic abilities laid bare!

I was right, you CAN create very good art. I hope you apply some of this to your flash stories. It would really enhance your work greatly. Either a retelling of your story with human shapes like this picture you made, or a new story.

My hats off to you, young lady! Full points! 5/5 10/10

Thank you XD I'm more at home with a pencil and paper though I do like to play in photoshop from time to time. I do have a tablet but sadly it isn't a name-brand and is difficult to deal with along with no settings to change/adjust. I very much want to draw better flash videos and without a time limit such as with my last one lol. (only had a few days)

Again thank you very much for your review ^^

oh thats what it is.

I thought it was jsut fried spider legs he was rolling around in. lol

Spiders, hands, it's all the same. I sure know I get them confused constantly.

bloody mirth. Awesome work

Very nice work. Graphite is nice, but if you were to try it in charcoal. wow. I love working in charcoal. My old art teacher once told us that you may hate it at first, but in time, you wont want to use anything else. He was so right! I found using the actual charcoal sticks was much more satisfying than using the pencils. I tended to create vast stretches of forests from the point of view of some small animal on a path. I wish I still had my old work..sigh. (destroyed in a neighborhood fire. yeah sad. over 70 paintings and 300 drawings up in smoke.)

When you said, and i quote:
"Thanks, but as a general rule I try not bleed when I draw--it ruins the art!"

Well actually Some famous art masters of the past wold use their own blood to help tint colors. Obviously a dangerous practice if overdone. I myself would use small amounts to lightly smear over my colored pencil drawings, creating an almost film over the area. Usually I did that only for the eyes of the mythical creatures. Less blood needed then...also for a time I wrote my signature in my own blood. Then coasted the whole drawing with fixative. Preserves the blood quite well. Also cows blood has been used by the great masters. Those who might have fainted at wounding themselves too often lol

Awesom-o Power!

I like the mix of cultures in his wardrobe. His hat looks a bit off center, but thats just me being picky.

Awesome job, man!

Inseminating elephants is more than a hobby of mine. It's a passion. PASSION I SAY! ...mmm
