You portray your seething hate for the sailor scouts quite well. Great job.

Love eeeet!
Love it! This one is going into my Newgrounds art folder.
Soon it will make its rotation among the rest.

You look very surprised that you did a self-portrait.
Also you look hungry.
Awesome job man!
All points to you!!!
Yeah thats like my blank "I'm concentrating on my drawing"-look
thanks!
Looks great!
The proportions DO look fine. If the so called experts put their own arms to their sides, they indeed reach nearly to the knees. So you are fine on that count.
What is throwing some critics off is the armor pieces. One arm looks thicker and therefore visually longer than we are used to seeing. But its fine in reality.
The overall figure is about 6 heads tall..still within the realm of reality. She's just not average female height. Not a problem since everyone are different heights. (possibly an amazon warrior? :D )
The ONLY thing I can see that might be off (aside from aforementioned fetching) is there the grip of the arrow end, Looks too loose compared to the beginning pull. This is a minor thing though since also no archer would begin a pul lthen pause to get her pic taken (painted?)Should be a full follow-through on the pull.
But again, that doesn't matter since this could be the pull-back reaction to a command to cease fire and so in the motion of releasing tension on the bow.
Or none of that bs and simply posing for the great artist.
(often done in ancient paintings, unrealistic poses for dramatic effect.)
What all my nonsensical rambling comes down to is this:
Great Work! No real flaws, great composition! All the points belong to you!
Thank you very much kind sir! I will look in to those points in my future endeavors.
CHEERS!
I like this very much
I was recently in the Philippines (Palawan) doing volunteer teacher work for my step-mother (filipina) and your painting makes me homesick. Yes during my experience there, I have considered the Philippines a second home for me. I love the community and the way things connect there. I miss it already and I'm only back in America since January 18th!
The scene in your painting is so very filipino, a sight seen every day from my office/bedroom window. I would often just sit and watch the people do their daily tasks. I felt good to be there and experiencing as I did.
I had some good memories made there. I will definitely return. I have many friends on many islands whom I wish to visit.
Maybe this time I will actually learn Tagalog! haha!
Full points my filipino friend! 5/5 10/10
Thank you very much for the comment sir. Yeah, you should learn tagalog sir once you come back here. :)
